Essential storage

Cookies are small values stored by Your browser and sent with matching website requests. Our account website uses essential session/security cookies for sign-in. We also store interface preferences and Your analytics choice. The host-only leero-analytics-v1 cookie records acceptance or rejection for up to one year. These functions do not require accepting optional analytics. Your browser can remove storage sooner.

The web app at https://web.leero.app uses IndexedDB and other browser storage for its local reading database, authentication tokens, and preferences. This is different from the account website's cookie-based session. Local app data persists until removed by You, the app, or the browser. Clearing it may lose unsynced content. The Privacy Policy explains encryption limitations, diagnostics, and deletion.

Optional Google Analytics

On eligible public pages of https://leero.app, we load Google Analytics only after You choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics leaves it disabled. Before a choice, it is also disabled; we do not load the Google tag or send cookieless analytics pings before consent.

Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browser visits and measure website usage. Google's configured expiry and Your browser's rules determine how long they last; Google commonly uses a two-year default for _ga. Identifiers and technical usage information may be personal data, not anonymous data. See Google's cookie information.

Our integration excludes account, authentication, contact, and payment flows, and pages with query parameters or URL fragments. It does not send referrer values or enable Google signals or advertising personalization. The web app does not use marketing analytics. Sentry error reporting is separate from this optional website analytics choice.

Change Your choice

Use Cookie preferences on the website to accept or reject analytics later. Rejecting after acceptance reloads the page to unload the Google tag and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. Withdrawal stops future collection through our integration; it does not itself delete information previously sent to Google. Contact us for applicable personal-data requests. Choices apply to the current browser and website, not automatically to other devices.

Old cookie-consent acknowledgements do not grant permission under this opt-in mechanism. If browser settings prevent saving a choice, analytics remains off on subsequent page loads until consent can be recorded.

Third-party interactions

Google/Apple sign-in and LemonSqueezy checkout may use their own cookies or storage when You use those services, under their notices. Our optional analytics choice does not control those providers' necessary payment or authentication functions. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or checkout from working.
